Audience-specific ad groups
Older residents (29.5% are 65 or older) and newcomers (the city grew 14.4% from 2020 to 2023) get separate ad text and landing pages. The monthly report shows which group produced calls so budgets can be rebalanced.

Get results in days, not monthsResults in days, not monthsPalm Coast looks like a quiet retirement town, and a campaign built only for that picture would miss half the market. The city counts 102,113 residents in 2023, up 14.4% from 2020, while 29.5% of residents are 65 or older. One group arrives with moving boxes and a long list of first-time searches; another has lived here long enough to trust a name it already knows. Google Ads has to speak to both, in separate ads.
A GetPhound plan splits the work by audience and by community, from Town Center to Matanzas Woods, with landing pages for each service, tracked calls and forms, and a monthly report from a dedicated account manager. Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram) and Bing Ads are available as extra channels whenever your customers use them. There is no setup fee, no contract and no commitment beyond the current month.

City Ad Competition Index
20.6/ 100
Rank 189 of 211 Florida cities in this set
Data: U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey 2018-2022 and Population Estimates, County Business Patterns 2022. Percentile bars compare Palm Coast with the other 211 cities in this set, not with the nation.
Buyers and advertisers
Four industries lead among working residents: health care and social assistance at 5,479 workers (14.3%), retail trade at 4,982 (13%), accommodation and food services at 3,291 (8.6%) and construction at 3,132 (8.2%), with education at 2,910 (7.6%) and professional, scientific and technical services at 2,756 (7.2%) close behind. AdventHealth says health care is now Flagler County's top employment sector and that it employs nearly 1,800 people locally, with a location on Palm Coast Parkway and the Freytag Cancer Center. Practices that advertise one specialty at a time, with hours and insurance up front, give older patients an easy decision.
Home-related advertisers are multiplying. Flagler County has 58 residential remodelers, up 52.6% and 1.46 times the typical county's density, 44 plumbing, heating and air-conditioning contractors, up 63%, 65 landscaping services at 1.51 times typical and 133 real estate agents and brokers, 4.07 times typical and up 40%. New subdivisions such as Sawmill Creek and Flagler Village are active, so a lot of Google Ads in Palm Coast comes from builders and trades chasing the same newcomers, which is why landing pages and negative keywords carry real weight here. These are county figures, not the city's own count.
Schools, restaurants and landscaping firms sit among the county's largest employers, and the industrial parks held more than 30 mid-size businesses as of 2012. Palm Coast Data, once close to 1,000 workers, closed on August 15, 2020. Suppliers who sell to local employers should keep their business-to-business campaigns apart from consumer ones, run them on weekday schedules and send buyers to a page with a form and a direct line.
Who lives and works here
The mix of jobs hints at who your customers are. These are the largest industries among employed Palm Coast residents, from the Census Bureau's American Community Survey.
| Industry | Employed residents | Share of workers |
|---|---|---|
| Health care and social assistance | 5,479 | 14.3% |
| Retail trade | 4,982 | 13% |
| Accommodation and food services | 3,291 | 8.6% |
| Construction | 3,132 | 8.2% |
| Education | 2,910 | 7.6% |
| Professional, scientific and technical services | 2,756 | 7.2% |
Data: U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey 5-year estimates (2018-2022), employed civilians aged 16 and over. Industries are where residents work, which may be outside the city.
Your competition
Palm Coast sits in Flagler County, and the Census Bureau counts businesses by county, not by city. Each reading compares employer locations per resident with the median U.S. county: a reading of 2.0x means twice as many locations per resident as a typical county.
Crowding = employer locations per 10,000 residents divided by the median U.S. county of 20,000+ residents (1.0x is typical). Counts are establishments from County Business Patterns (2017, 2022), counted for the whole county, not a count of active advertisers.
Customer behavior
Older residents set the tone. Median age is 50.3 against 42 in the typical Florida city, 29.5% are 65 or older against 20%, and median household income is $68,824, a little above the $67,722 typical. These customers tend to search for health, home and trade services, read before they call and expect a person on the phone. Ads should lead with a tap-to-call button, plain hours and one sentence on what happens when the phone is answered, and landing pages should use large, readable type and short forms.
Newcomers search from scratch. Only 22.1% of households rent, against 34.2% typical, so owner households dominate, and the median home value is $283,300 against $297,700. A family that just closed on a house needs a roofer, a lawn service, air conditioning, insurance and a dentist, and none of them has a history with a local provider. That makes the ad and the landing page the whole first impression, so credentials, service areas and clear next steps belong on the first screen.
Seasonal residents add another pattern. Visit Flagler markets Palm Coast and the Flagler beaches as a winter destination for snowbirds, and 8.1% of homes are held for seasonal, recreational or occasional use, against 5.2% in the typical city. Central Park hosts holiday events in late November and December and a Strawberry Festival in March. Location settings can include people who show interest in the area, not only those standing in it, which suits home-watch, pool and lawn services that part-time owners look for before they arrive.
Storms rearrange the calendar. The city has 46 miles of freshwater canals and 23 miles of saltwater canals, and canal and low-lying neighborhoods flooded during Hurricane Ian and Tropical Storm Nicole in 2022. Restoration, roofing, tree and drainage businesses can prepare ad copy and landing pages before a storm, and any business whose hours change can edit ads quickly. With a density of 952 residents per square mile, service areas are wide, so drive-time matters more than a tidy radius.
What the plan emphasizes
Retirees and newcomers
Older residents (29.5% are 65 or older) and newcomers (the city grew 14.4% from 2020 to 2023) get separate ad text and landing pages. The monthly report shows which group produced calls so budgets can be rebalanced.
Large buttons, clear hours
For health, home and trade services aimed at long-time residents around Belle Terre and Town Center, ads and pages put a tap-to-call button at the top, give readable hours and keep forms short. Calls are tracked back to the keyword that produced them.
Sawmill Creek, Matanzas Woods
With remodelers up 52.6% in Flagler County and new subdivisions rising, lawn, roofing, air-conditioning and insurance ads near Sawmill Creek and Matanzas Woods focus on first-time local searches. Landing pages name the neighborhoods served.
Grand Haven, Hammock, Belle Terre
Many addresses are described by community, so ad text and pages name Grand Haven, Belle Terre or the Hammock communities when a business serves them. Hammock sits outside city limits, so it is set in or out of location targeting on purpose.
Snowbird season, hurricane prep
Budgets rise for the winter weeks when seasonal residents arrive, since 8.1% of homes are held for occasional use, and restoration and roofing campaigns are staged before storms. After a flooding event, ad copy and hours are updated within the day.
Meta Ads and Bing Ads
Newcomers who have not searched yet can be reached with Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram), while Bing Ads supply another source of search traffic around Palm Harbor and beyond. Each channel is measured separately in the same monthly report.
Retirees, new homeowners and seasonal visitors each search differently, so structure matters more than any single ad. These six pieces would lead a plan across the city, from Town Center to Matanzas Woods.
Location settings
The city covers 95.665 square miles at 952 residents per square mile, and I-95 splits it, so customers say where they live by community. Here are nine places from our research that would shape location settings, landing pages and exclusions.
| Area | Why it matters for search |
|---|---|
| Town Center | City Hall and Central Park sit here, along with the Fantasy Lights Festival, a tree lighting and the spring Strawberry Festival, so event-week ads for food and services can use a tight radius. |
| Palm Harbor | The area along Palm Harbor Parkway, with a canal, condos and mixed-use commercial space, suits storefront and service ads with a short drive-time radius. |
| European Village | This mixed-use development in Palm Harbor holds a farmers market, giving cafes and shops a weekly rhythm to schedule ads around. |
| Belle Terre | Belle Terre Park runs a free pickleball program on its tennis courts, a natural place to test wellness, physical therapy and sports ads along the parkway. |
| Matanzas Woods | The north-end growth corridor, with the I-95 Exit 293 interchange opened in March 2016, apartments and a planned medical village, fits new-resident and medical campaigns. |
| Hammock | These private, gated communities east of the Intracoastal Waterway, reached by a toll bridge, are unincorporated, so location settings should be chosen deliberately for businesses that serve them. |
| Grand Haven | A guarded, gated golf community with a Jack Nicklaus Signature course in south Palm Coast, where businesses that serve residents should name the community in ad text and pages. |
| Sawmill Creek | Part of the large Palm Coast Park area west of US 1 with hundreds of new single-family homes platted, so new-homeowner ads for lawns, security and furnishings fit. |
| The Woodlands | Standing water hit this neighborhood hard after Hurricane Ian in 2022, so restoration and drainage services may deserve a dedicated post-storm campaign here. |
Areas named from public sources (city, county and regional organizations). Boundaries are informal; people search by the names they use.

More than Google
Google search
Show up at the top of Google for the searches Wake County customers make. You pay per click.
Facebook and Instagram

Microsoft Ads
Bing, Microsoft Edge and Microsoft's partner network give you a second search audience.
Many names, one service
Paid ads, PPC, pay-per-click, Google Ads, Facebook ads, Instagram ads: it is one service, you pay per click, and we run it for Wake County businesses on a flat plan.
Google Ads typically goes first because people searching are ready to act; Facebook, Instagram and Bing come next. Whatever mix you choose, one account manager handles it all.
How it works
We build your campaign with the groundwork done properly: landing pages built to turn clicks into calls, keywords, ads, extensions and tracking for calls, forms and sales, targeted to the parts of Palm Coast you serve.
After launch we review the account often and tune it, adding negative keywords to block poor-fit searches, reworking bids and improving lead quality.
Strong ad groups get more attention, and we test broader keyword sets, so your calls keep growing.
You get monthly tracking and reports with your account manager, and your management fee comes down as your account grows, which lifts your return.
What it costs
One flat fee a month with no contract, priced by platform count. Ad spend is separate and goes straight to the ad platform. Ad budget above $10K a month? Let's talk.
Common questions
Pricing is a flat monthly management fee with nothing to sign: $895 for one platform, $1,595 for two and $2,295 for three. The ad budget is separate and is paid directly to the platform, and we set it with you from your own numbers, not a rule of thumb. The plans are laid out above, or view full pricing.
Urgent needs, such as an air-conditioning failure or a dental emergency near Town Center, can bring calls the day the campaign goes live. Planned purchases like remodeling or financial planning usually need two to four weeks to settle, and retirees often compare several providers first. We promise no lead count, and the monthly report lists the calls, forms and search terms behind each result.
The starting point is your economics: what a customer is worth, how many leads become sales and how many jobs you can take. Then the budget is spread across the year, with more during the winter weeks when seasonal residents arrive and less when the calendar is quiet. Because 8.1% of homes are held for occasional use, that seasonal pattern is real, and the dollar figure is set with you.
For people already searching for a service, Google Ads usually comes first. Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram) suit announcements, events and new arrivals who do not know your name yet. We track both across Flagler County and move spending toward whichever brings in customers for your service.
Each place gets its own location target and landing page, so your spending follows where you actually work. A business near Town Center could add Bunnell, Ormond Beach and St. Augustine as separate campaigns without muddying the data from Flagler County.
Yes. Ads are aimed at the surrounding area, and ad text and landing pages name Grand Haven, the Hammock communities or Belle Terre so residents know you serve them. Location settings are checked carefully because Hammock sits outside city limits.
The county limits irrigation to one day per week, so landscaping ads in Flagler County can lean on services that still matter, such as sprinkler repair, mulching and drought-friendly plantings, instead of promises that assume daily watering. Campaign tracking shows which of those services produces calls.
Ads can be paused, edited or redirected within the day. A restoration company serving The Woodlands may want its campaign turned up, while a restaurant on Palm Harbor Parkway may need updated hours or a temporary pause. The account manager keeps a plan for both.
Buyers searching for new homes, floor plans and move-in dates along Matanzas Woods Parkway often decide quickly, so a campaign can target those terms with a landing page for each subdivision. Negative keywords screen out rental, job and resale searches, and tracking shows which neighborhoods produce appointments.
OpenAI has started showing labeled, sponsored ads to some ChatGPT users on free and lower-priced plans, with a self-serve ad manager for businesses. Targeting is limited to country or topic rather than keywords and measurement is still maturing, so we see it as a test, not a foundation. Google Ads is still where most businesses should start. Ask us if you wonder whether a small test makes sense.
